Food, Nutrition, and Health of Europe
Introduction
Students who participate in this program will have a unique opportunity to explore the rich culture and history of Spain, France, and Italy while learning about food, nutrition, and health. You’ll better understand the food, nutrition and culture of these countries by spending time in beautiful cities including Valencia, Barcelona, Montpellier, Nyons, Turin, and Milan.
Some of the exciting planned excursions and events include visits to Lake Como, Turin Royal Palace, La Sagrada Familia and more. Students will tour a winery, an olive oil mill, a dairy (cheese making), chocolate workshop, local food markets, and attend several cooking classes with gourmet chefs.
