Study Abroad in Taiwan

May 22 - June 6, 2023

Our study abroad program to Taiwan is designed for athletic training and exercise science students, focusing on global issues in sports medicine and medical treatments used for sport-related injuries.

Take part in medical observations in clinical facilities and educational tours as you learn medical practices and techniques used in Taiwan, plus various traditional Chinese therapeutic techniques used to treat athletes of all levels.

This program is offered in association with the National Taiwan Sport University (NTSU) and is available to undergraduate and graduate students in athletic training or pre-physical therapy/exercise science. The academic program focuses on traditional Asian therapies such as acupressure massage, acupuncture, rehabilitation techniques, and fire cupping.

This clinical program gives you athletic training observation and hands-on experience with NTSU intercollegiate teams and as well as physician and health care professionals associated with NTSU.
